A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY.
The Capay Valley Almond Festival has been a cherished California tradition since 1915. As the only six-town, day-long festival in Northern California, it’s a true celebration of the almonds in bloom, the people, and the spirit of the Capay Valley.
Stretching along scenic Highway 16 from Esparto to Rumsey, the festival offers something for everyone - a full day of discovery, connection, and fun for all ages.
At The Rumsey Town Hall, the heart of the celebration comes alive. Enjoy live music and dancing, explore local goods and artisan crafts, bid in our silent auction, and savor fresh, delicious food made with organic ingredients from various local farms.
There’s no better time to experience the Capay Valley than during almond bloom. Take the drive, soak in the beauty, and connect with the farmers, makers, vendors, and neighbors who live and work in this remarkable valley we’re proud to call home.
